9 WEEK CLASS SESSIONS

Our nine-week sessions begin January 15, 2024 and continue through March 7, 2024.

Come play, create and imagine. Go on thrilling adventures every week! Through art, games and storytelling students will learn to work together and collaborate to bring characters to life as they build confidence needed to be in front of an audience and explore beginning theater skills.

  • GRADES 2-4 / AGES 7-9
    Mondays 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM

In this class, your child will be introduced to basic art techniques, which are the building blocks that will provide a solid foundation for future art lovers and artists. Children will explore the great world of art using a variety of mediums including clay, paper and paint. This unique learning experience places an emphasis on having fun while exploring creativity!

Students will develop a toolbox of acting essentials while exploring solo and partner work, improvisation, scene analysis, working with objectives and learning key theatre vocabulary.  This class also focuses on on enhancing students’ communication skills and self-confidence: two invaluable life skills that actor training builds- whether used to become a successful professional actor, or a poised, well-spoken, and confident individual!

  • GRADES 5-8 / AGES 10-14
    Thursday 5:15 PM- 6:00 PM

Each week, students will read and discuss a play.  They'll talk about the characters and conflicts, pinpoint the themes, and talk about how an actor might bring the story to life.  This class is designed for young actors, theatre lovers, and anyone who loves great story! If your child is interested in getting involved with CCT, this class is a great way to begin!  Everyone is welcome and everyone participates!
